How much experience do you have?
I have been translating for 6+ years and interpreting for 18 years. I am a member of the American Translators Association and Asetrad (Spanish Association of Translators, Editors and Interpreters).
Do you have a degree?
Yes! I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Berry College.
Are you specialized in chiropractic terminology?
Yes! My experience in chiropractic runs deep--I'm a current patient, spend my days reading articles, blogs, journals, and even watching webinars to stay up-to-speed on chiropractic jargon.
I'm not local. Can we still work together?
Yes! My profession is pretty neat in that it allows me to work with anyone around the globe. You'll only need access to the internet and you're good to go.
What is the difference between translation and interpreting?
Translation is an adaptation of your written message from one language to another. Interpreting is to render the same message from one spoken language to another.

Translation
What does "translate your content" mean?
I perform a complete adaptation of your message from English to Spanish or Spanish to English, taking into consideration the nuances of the target audience's culture, your writing style, tone, and purpose.
What does this include?
This includes a complimentary consultation, custom quote, research, translation, and proofreading. More services are an additional fee.
How do I get a free quote?
I only provide custom quotes, as each project is unique. For this reason, I ask that you complete this form for a detailed quote, which you will receive once I take a closer look at your project details. Please consider that rush projects may incur additional fees if I have to work overtime.
How much does a translation cost?
Translations are priced per project (based on the length, difficulty, and format), as no two texts are alike. I really encourage you to complete this form so I can provide you with the best solutions for your communication needs.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes! I book a number of clients who are looking to have their content delivered as soon as possible. Once I book the project for you, that means I set aside time for you. The deposit is non-refundable to make sure that I honor the time I've set aside just for you, and for my other clients.
How do I pay?
You will receive an official invoice, which is paid in installments or in 15 days, whichever comes first. I accept payments in US Dollars ($, USD). I accept wire transfers into a US account, as well as other forms of payment. Please get in touch for more details.

How long does this process take?
Each project is completed on a case-by-case basis, meaning that I analyze each project individually. Please carefully consider that it takes time to conduct research, translate, and proofread. For this reason, I will only be able to assess the timeframe once I see the content.
Interpreting
What does "interpreting" mean?
I listen to the speaker, grasp the content, and convey the message orally from English to Spanish or Spanish to English; taking into consideration the nuances of the target audience's culture, as well as the speaker's tone, rhythm, and purpose. Everything happens in a split second, so there isn't time to figure out which would be the best way to interpret or to recall just the right idiom in the target language, on the spot. Any delay, from a few words to even a thought could be lost permanently. That is why knowledge and experience are equally vital to high-quality interpreting.

This includes a complimentary consultation, custom quote, pre-assignment prep (i.e. I do my homework), and interpreting by a seasoned professional.
How long will it take to receive a free quote?
